In the GamePoint platform, there are several chat features that enhance the social aspect of your gaming experience. Here's a breakdown of how to add friends, block players, and customize your chat settings.

How Do I Add Friends?

Adding friends is easy and can be done in several ways:

  • Private Message: While messaging someone who isn’t on your friend list, you will see a green plus symbol next to the chat window. Click the green plus to add them to your list.
  • Post-Game: After a game, a result screen will show up. You can add players by clicking the green plus next to their username.
  • Chat User: Click on a username in the chat and select "Add to Friends List."
  • Manual Add: Open your friends list, click the green plus, and type the username of the player you'd like to add.

How to Block or Unblock a Player in Chat?

If someone’s communication is bothering you, you can block them by:

  • In Chat: Right-click on the player’s name at the start of their message, then select "Block Player."
  • Player List: Find the player in the player list in the upper right corner, wait for their card to appear, and click the red circle icon.
  • Command: Type/block PLAYERNAME to block someone. To unblock, simply type/unblock PLAYERNAME.

Additional commands:

  • /blockedplayers – Shows all blocked players.
  • /unblock all – Unblocks all blocked players.

On mobile, click the player's name in the chat or player list and select the "Ignore" option. The same chat commands mentioned above will work on mobile as well. You can block up to 700 players depending on your membership status.

How Can I See My Entire List of Blocked Players?

To view all blocked players, use the command/blocklist in the chat. To unblock everyone, use/unblock all.

How Can I Adjust the Color and Size of My Chat?

If you're playing on the web version of the game, you can personalize your chat settings:

  1. Click on your avatar in the top left corner of your screen.
  2. Go to "Settings" and select the "Chat" option.
  3. Here, you can change the font size, adjust the color of the text, and tweak other chat features to fit your preferences.

These features allow you to customize and control your social interactions while gaming, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all.
