The object of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all the cards in his or her stockpile. The cards are stacked 1 to 12 in numerical order on the table.
Basic Rules:
- On the left of each player lies his or her stockpile with the top card facing up.
- The first player to clear all the cards from his or her stockpile wins the game.
- Each player starts with a hand of 5 cards.
- A building pile starts when a player places a 1 or a Joker on the table.
- Once a building pile of 12 cards has been completed, it is removed from the game.
- The 4 card spaces in front of a player are his or her personal discard piles.
- A player’s turn ends when a card from his or her hand is placed on top of a discard pile.
- Multiple cards can be stacked on top of each other in these discard piles, however, only the top cards are visible and accessible to a player.
- Discard pile cards are to be used when no other card from a player’s hand can be used.
- At the beginning of every turn, the computer replenishes a player’s hand so they always have 5 cards in hand.
- If all 5 cards in the player's hand are played, he or she will receive 5 new cards and can continue playing during that same turn.
- The game has 144 cards numbered 1 to 12 plus 18 Joker cards that can be used as any number.
