Choose the instructions below for your device.

Windows

Option 1: System Information

  1. Press the Windows key and R at the same time.

  2. Type msinfo32.

  3. Press Enter.

A window will open with information about your computer.

Option 2: Settings

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Click System.

  3. Click About.

You will see information about your device, such as your processor, memory (RAM), and Windows version.

Option 3: Task Manager

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc.

  2. Click the Performance tab.

You will see information about your computer's hardware.

macOS

Option 1: About This Mac

  1. Click the Apple menu  in the top-left corner of your screen.

  2. Select About This Mac.

You will see an overview of your Mac.

Option 2: System Information

  1. Hold down the Option key on your keyboard.

  2. Click the Apple menu .

  3. Select System Information.

You will see detailed information about your Mac.

How Do I Take a Screenshot?

Windows

  1. Make sure the computer specifications are visible on your screen.

  2. Press the Print Screen (PrtScn) key on your keyboard.

  3. Open Paint.

  4. Press Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot.

  5. Save the file.

macOS

  1. Make sure the computer specifications are visible on your screen.

  2. Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 3.

  3. The screenshot will automatically be saved to your desktop.

How Do I Send the Screenshot?

  1. Open the chat window where you're speaking with our support team.

  2. Click the paperclip icon.

  3. Select the screenshot you saved.

  4. Send your message.
