Why Does My Credit Card Statement Show a Different Date or Amount?
Sometimes the information shown on your bank or credit card statement may look slightly different from the purchase information shown during checkout in GamePoint.
This is usually caused by how banks and credit card providers process payments.
Why is the purchase date different?
Credit card providers do not always process payments immediately.
In some cases, the payment may be processed or registered several days after the actual purchase date. Because of this, the date shown on your statement may differ from the date you made the purchase in-game or on our website.
This does not usually mean the payment was charged incorrectly or multiple times.
Why is the amount slightly different?
The amount shown on your statement can sometimes differ slightly from the original package price because your bank or payment provider may add additional fees, such as:
Payment processing fees
Currency conversion fees
International transaction fees
These fees are determined by your bank or card provider and are not added by GamePoint.
What should I compare?
When reviewing a transaction, we recommend checking:
The approximate purchase date
The transaction amount
The transaction description/reference on your statement
Still believe something is incorrect?
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact our Support team and include:
Your GamePoint playername
A screenshot of the transaction or statement
The charged amount
The transaction date
This helps us investigate the payment more quickly.
