Nothing is more annoying than a game not loading. Thankfully, there are steps you can take to resolve games that are stuck in the loading screen. Possible causes for a game to stop loading:

  • There is no connection to the game. Make sure you have a working internet connection.
  • The temporary internet files saved by your browser are causing difficulties. Clear your cache, delete your temporary internet files, and try again.
  • Your connection is not fast enough to load all the game components in a timely manner.
  • The GamePoint servers are down (due to maintenance).

Clearing your cache

One of the most common causes of a game not loading is related to your temporary internet files, which are also referred to as ‘cache’. The purpose of these files is to speed up the loading process, but cleaning up your cache once in a while is recommended and especially when you run into a game that is not loading.

Clearing the temporary internet files or browser cache will often solve this issue. Use one of the following links to find out how you can erase the files in your browser:

Stuck on 30% or 60%
If you are always stuck on 30% or 60% in the loading screen, even after clearing your cache, it is most likely that your system is not capable of running the game. In that case we recommend making use of GamePoint Play, a new place to play all your favorite GamePoint games.

GamePoint Play can be downloaded for free and works as a separate application on your own desktop.

Maintenance
When we are performing (emergency) maintenance all our games will be temporarily unavailable. It is impossible for new players to join the game, but players already online can still play a few rounds before our technicians shut the games down. Games interrupted by maintenance will always be refunded and the stakes played will be returned to your Coin balance.
