Cancelling your account means that you request the permanent removal of your GamePoint account and all associated data. Once completed, access to your account is no longer possible.
Cancelling an Account on the website
If you cancel your account via the official website, your account cancellation includes a 3-month grace period. During this time, you can still change your mind.
How to cancel your account
Log in to your account.
Click on your profile picture in the upper-right corner of the page.
Click on Account, then on Settings, and finally on Privacy & E-mail.
Scroll down and click on Cancel Account, then click on OK to confirm.
Select the reason why you want to cancel your account, then check the second box to confirm the cancellation.
Optional: Enter a comment and/or check the first box to give more feedback.
Confirm your request via the verification email you received.
What happens next?
Your account enters a 3-month grace period.
During this period:
You can still log in to your account.
Logging in will cancel the deletion request and fully reactivate your account.
Permanent deletion
If you do not log in for 3 months:
Your account will be permanently deleted.
Your username becomes available for new players.
Cancelling an Account on the mobile app
If you cancel your account via the mobile app, the deletion is processed immediately.
How to delete your account
Open the app and log in.
Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner of the home screen.
Go to Account Settings.
Tap on Delete Account.
Tap on Yes to confirm your request.
What happens next?
Your account is immediately and permanently deleted.
There is no grace period.
Once completed:
Your account cannot be recovered.
You will no longer have access.
